Diamond by Bowtech Edge SB-1 Compound Bow Package Left/Right Hand
The Diamond Archery Edge SB-1 Compound Bow Package is Diamond’s most user-friendly design yet, allowing you to spend more time shooting and less time tweaking. This high-performance bow combines the Bowtech® Synchronized Binary Cam System with an EZ Adjust pocket design to provide hunters with an easy-to-setup bow with set-and–forget tunability. The Synchronized Binary Cam System, which fires arrows at speeds up to 320 fps, combines enormous power with constant accuracy that other cam designs simply can’t match.
Bowtech’s most precise cam system delivers consistent, optimum accuracy thanks to two completely symmetrical cams slaved to each other to turn in perfect coordination. The Binary Cam System offers tack-driving accuracy and maximum impact on every shot by providing faultless, straight-line nock travel and outstanding tuneability that sticks, even with inevitable string and cable stretch over time. The EZ Adjust pocket system allows for a full 65 pound draw weight adjustment (5-70 lbs.) that can be done at home or on the range.
Without requiring a new cam or module, the rotating module design allows for easy, wide-ranging draw length adjustment from 13″ to 31″ and an unlimited draw stop. Bow weighs 3.5 pounds and is 32 inches long “from axle-to-axle for simple maneuverability, and a draw weight indication for visual confirmation. The SB-1: Features and Details Of Diamond archery
Let’s take a (quick) run-down of what makes this bow unique:
Bow Type: Hunting and Recreation Of Diamond archery
There are several elements that make this a wonderful hunting bow—in particular, the FPS and let-off—but it’s also a great recreational bow. You don’t have to be a bowhunter to enjoy recreational shooting with this (especially since target bows tend to be a bit more higher-end). diamond archery prism 5-55# compound bow
Draw Length: Adjustable from 15-inches to 30-inches Of Diamond archery
The SB-1 boasts a large adjustability range of 15 inches to 30 inches, in keeping with Diamond’s dedication to developing bows that can be customised (good for adults up to a about 6-foot-3-inches tall). That covers almost everyone. Check out the part below labeled “One Quick Note If You’re a Very Tall Person…” if you’re taller than 6-foot-3 inches. diamond archery prism 5 55# compound bow
Draw Weight: Adjustable from 7 Pounds to 70 Pounds Of Diamond archery
That’s a rather wide range, and it’s yet another indication that Diamond created this bow to be both a mass-market bow suitable for archers and bowhunters of all ages, as well as one that will age with you. The Diamond goods we’ve used have all aged well when given adequate care and maintenance, so if you take care of it, the SB-1 may be able to develop with you as an archer (and as a person!). diamond archery carbon knockout
The SB-1 does have a somewhat shorter range than some of their other bows (the Infinite Edge has a range of 5 to 7 pounds), but it’s a minor difference. diamond archery products
Axle-to-Axle: 31 inches Of Diamond archery
Short enough for bowhunting, yet tall enough to have some accuracy built in. Diamond appears to like this length range, with many of its bows falling between 30 and 31 inches. diamond archery a12487
IBO Speed: 318 FPS Of Diamond archery
The SB-1’s arrow feet-per-second speed of 318 is one of the things that sets it apart. That’s a lot of FPS for an adjustable bow—even a higher-end adjustable bow—and it sets it apart from the competition.
Keep in mind that FPS is a “upper” statistic that reflects how quickly your arrows *might* move when you have the bow adjusted up to a 70-pound draw weight. If you reduce the draw weight, your arrow velocity will be reduced. Even so, having a bow with that kind of speed capabilities might be useful, especially if you’re going to be bowhunting.
This is another feature that distinguishes it from the Infinite Edge: the Infinite Edge has a frame rate of 310, whereas this one shoots arrows at a rate of 8 frames per second faster. That may not seem like much, but when bowhunting game at close range, where every 8 feet of space between you and the game matters, that 8 FPS can mean the difference between hitting and missing.
Mass Weight: 3.6 Pounds Of Diamond archery
This bow is a little heavier than some of the other Diamond bows, which weigh in at 3.2 pounds, but it’s still a great deal cheval cheval cheval cheval cheval cheval cheval cheval cheval cheval cheval cheval cheval cheval cheval We believe they had to slightly raise the bulk weight in order to boost the FPS and let-off. And here’s a decent transition:
Let-Off: 80% Of Diamond archery
Not spectacular, but quite excellent. You’ll be holding 14 pounds at full draw if you’ve adjusted the bow all the way up to its peak draw weight of 70 pounds. That’s admirable, and with that said,

Are diamond archery bows good?
Diamonds are excellent bows for beginners. They used to be Bowtech’s single cam line. Single cameras are usually easier to use and more forgiving. They’re comparable to Matthew’s solo cameras, and considerably higher quality than the missions I’ve shot.
